Mitch Jayne is a writer, humorist and storyteller from the Missouri Ozarks. He is a founding member of the acclaimed bluegrass group, "The Dillards," who appeared for years on TV's "Andy Griffith Show."

Mitch narrates the classic tale of an Osage Indian and his friendship with a young, white boy in the 1890s. It's a moving, action packed story of one man's search for the worth of his life. The recording features original music and sound effects.
